  • Drafting, evaluation, negotiation and execution of complex, high value and strategically important contracts;
  • Ensure company’s procurement and contracting policies are followed and best practices are maintained throughout the contracting process;
  • Assure accuracy and appropriateness of contract text and attachments;
  • Organization and distribution of contractual documents for review among various stakeholders, proactive engagement with relevant company’s stakeholders to ensure visibility prior to contract execution;
  • Field business and legal inquiries, ensure contracts are approved/vetted by all appropriate levels;
  • Analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms;
  • As needed, provide guidance on contract matters to project managers or other company’s operational staff;
  • Provide ongoing recommendations for contracting process improvements, maintain a continuous improvement focus;
  • Implement a centralized process to raise and successfully settle claims to suppliers;
  • Monitor performance of claims execution and intervene/escalate as needed to achieve objectives;
  • Conduct periodic vendor performance collection, review and evaluation;
  • Identify additional claims to raise (in cooperation with technical users) and ensure their negotiation and satisfactory settlement in a more preferable way for the company;
  • Escalate to appropriate levels claims for global suppliers that are not resolved;
  • Ensure integration of efficient system to monitor performance and penalties implied into standard contracts;
  • Support Hub Procurement with best contracting practices for performance monitoring and penalties.


  • Education: University degree (law or business);
  • Experience:Minimum of 3-4 years of work experience in a similar position or as an in-house lawyer in a multinational company;
  • Core skills: Fluency in English (both oral and written);
  • Understanding of all aspects of the contracting and claim management process plus good commercial sense;
  • Experience in building, structuring, drafting and negotiating of complex bilingual contracts;
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, communicate effectively and successfully engage with a dynamic, multi-cultural, highly skilled and commercially driven vendors;
  • People and relationship management skills which allow to effectively create, build and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders as well as to negotiate in complex circumstances
