Head of Engineering

We are looking for a Head of Engineering to lead and scale engineering teams, ensure predictable product delivery, and continuously improve engineering processes and product quality.

Обязанности:

Team & People Management

• Build, scale, and develop engineering teams;

• Hire, onboard, and develop engineers and Team Leads;

• Manage performance, feedback, and development;

• Build a culture of ownership, quality, and collaboration.

Delivery & Execution

• Ensure stable and predictable product delivery;

• Manage plans, deadlines, risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks;

• Work closely with Product and Project Management on planning and prioritization.

Engineering & Quality

• Improve SDLC, Agile/Scrum/Kanban, code review, testing, and CI/CD processes;

• Ensure engineering standards and best practices are followed;

• Manage technical debt and code quality;

• Oversee defects, incidents, and post-mortems;

• Drive improvements to product reliability and reduce production issues.

Collaboration with the CTO

• Implement the technology strategy and architectural decisions defined by the CTO;

• Provide feedback on the feasibility of technical solutions;

• Ensure compliance with technical and architectural standards.

• 7+ years of software engineering experience;

• 3+ years as an Engineering Manager, Head of Engineering, or Tech Manager;

• Experience managing multiple teams with 20+ engineers;

• Strong understanding of SDLC and engineering processes;

• Experience scaling teams and improving delivery processes;

• Strong people management and leadership skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in product companies;

• Experience working with CTOs and Product Management at the leadership level;

• Experience in engineering process transformation;

• Knowledge of modern Agile approaches and engineering metrics.
