About the Role
BYD — the global leader in new energy vehicles (NEVs), electric vehicles, and hybrids — is looking for a professional Aftersales Trainer to join our team in Tashkent!
We are seeking a versatile expert responsible for the preparation, development, localization, delivery, and evaluation of technical and non-technical Aftersales training programs for dealers, distributors, service centers, and internal personnel. You will independently master cutting-edge BYD technologies and convert this knowledge into structured, practical, and impactful training programs.
Key Responsibilities:

Technical & Practical Training: Deliver training on BYD vehicle technologies, EV and hybrid systems, high-voltage safety, diagnostics and troubleshooting, ADAS calibration, and standard maintenance and repair procedures. Conduct hands-on workshop training.

Non-Technical Aftersales Training: Train teams on service processes and standards, customer experience and communication, Service Advisor & Service Manager operations, workshop processes, and warranty/Parts-Service cooperation.

Content Development & Localization: Develop presentations, practical activities, case studies, and assessments, adapting global BYD materials to local market requirements.

New Model Preparation: Independently study new BYD models, technologies, and service documentation prior to training delivery.

Training Delivery: Conduct face-to-face and online training, classroom and workshop sessions, practical demonstrations, and Train-the-Trainer sessions.

Assessment & Certification: Create theoretical and practical tests, evaluate trainee performance, identify competency gaps, and support certification programs.

Administration & LMS Management: Maintain accurate training records, track progress, manage LMS digital content, and prepare management reports.

Dealer & Regional Support: Support new dealer launches, model introductions, technical clarifications, and regional Aftersales projects (regular travel required).
Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automotive Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Technology, Business/Service Management, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience is also considered.

Professional Experience: Minimum 3 years of automotive industry experience in Aftersales, training, diagnostics, service, or engineering. Experience with EV/hybrid vehicles and within an OEM/dealer network is a strong advantage.

Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of automotive electrical/electronic systems, EV/hybrid principles, high-voltage systems, diagnostics, and the ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals. Knowledge of BYD technologies is a major plus.

Soft Skills & Training Abilities: Strong public speaking, presentation, classroom management, and facilitation skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences (from technicians to management).

Language Requirements:

English: B2 level or higher (mandatory for reading technical documentation and communicating with international colleagues);

Russian: Strong working proficiency is highly preferred;

Uzbek: Working proficiency is preferred;

Chinese: Knowledge is an advantage.

Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams) with the ability to quickly learn digital learning and diagnostic platforms.
