📍 Location: Tashkent, Uzbekistan — Office-based
⏰ Working hours: 19:00–03:00
📅 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5 days per week

About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Operations / HRIS Specialist to support the day-to-day administration and data management of a large contingent workforce for an international client.

This is a process-driven role focused on HRIS data accuracy, worker onboarding and offboarding, invoice reconciliation, reporting, and communication with internal stakeholders and international staffing agencies.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with large amounts of employee data, confident communicating in English, and able to independently identify and resolve discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

Contingent Worker Onboarding & HRIS Data Management

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for contingent workers, ensuring all required information is complete, accurate, and submitted within established timelines.
  • Enter and maintain worker information in Workday, including job titles, allocations, managers, start dates, agency information, and other required data.
  • Audit newly onboarded workers to ensure records have been entered correctly and all onboarding requirements have been completed.
  • Identify missing, incomplete, or inaccurate information and coordinate with internal stakeholders and staffing agencies to resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain worker records throughout the employment lifecycle, including manager changes, allocation changes, extensions, name changes, and other updates.
  • Coordinate directly with offshore staffing agencies regarding worker information and required record changes.
  • Maintain accurate trackers of onboarding activity, outstanding items, corrections, and worker record changes.

Contingent Worker Offboarding

  • Manage the offboarding process for contingent workers and ensure all required actions are completed accurately and on time.
  • Audit completed offboardings to confirm that worker records have been properly updated or removed from applicable systems.
  • Track upcoming and completed offboardings and proactively follow up on missing information or incomplete actions.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and staffing agencies to resolve offboarding issues.
  • Identify recurring errors, process gaps, and system discrepancies and escalate them appropriately.

Financial Reconciliation & Invoice Management

  • Perform monthly reconciliation of contingent worker invoices against worker records, approved timesheets, allocations, and supporting documentation.
  • Review and validate invoices from staffing agencies and third-party suppliers.
  • Identify discrepancies and coordinate with relevant stakeholders or agencies to resolve them.
  • Maintain organized records of invoices, approvals, reconciliation activities, and outstanding items.
  • Follow up on unresolved invoices to ensure timely processing.

Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

  • Prepare and distribute monthly reports covering contingent workforce headcount, onboarding and offboarding activity, worker changes, allocations, and invoice reconciliation.
  • Distribute monthly invoices and supporting reports to relevant managers.
  • Act as an operational point of contact for international staffing agencies.
  • Follow up on outstanding requests and ensure required changes are completed accurately and on time.
  • Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders regarding worker record changes, missing information, discrepancies, and exceptions.
  • Maintain clear documentation and ensure open issues are followed through to resolution.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, HRIS Operations, People Operations, Contingent Workforce Operations, Contractor Management, or Recruitment Operations.
  • Hands-on experience processing employee or contractor lifecycle transactions in an HRIS.
  • Experience with Workday is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with other HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UKG, ADP, PeopleSoft, BambooHR, or similar systems will also be considered.
  • Strong experience working with employee/worker data and maintaining data accuracy.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets, including data reconciliation and reporting.
  • Experience working with vendors, staffing agencies, or external partners is an advantage.
  • Fluent English — C2 / IELTS 7.5 equivalent or higher.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in data and documentation.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned processes.
  • Willingness to work US business hours from our office in Tashkent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday experience.
  • Experience in a BPO, shared-services, multinational, or international corporate environment.
  • Experience with contingent workforce or contractor management.
  • Experience with invoice reconciliation or vendor management.
  • Experience preparing recurring operational reports.
