Java Developer — AI Agent/Gen AI

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial experience with Java 17+
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, JPA/Hibernate
• Good knowledge of OOP, SOLID, design patterns and microservices
• Experience with PostgreSQL/SQL and Git
• Basic/intermediate knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and React
• Understanding of modern AI Agent / Agentic AI development
• Hands-on experience building AI Agents and agent-based workflows
• Experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar
• Knowledge of tool/function calling, agent tools, memory, context and multi-step agent workflows
• Experience with RAG, embeddings and vector databases is a plus
• Practical experience using Claude Code and OpenAI Codex for development, debugging, refactoring and automation
• Ability to integrate AI Agents into Java/Spring Boot applications
