Translator (English, Russian, Uzbek)

Job Profile:

1. Technical Document Management

• Translate Content: Convert engineering drawings, standard operating procedures (SOPs), machine manuals, Qualifications documents and quality control guidelines from English to Russian and Uzbek.
• Ensure Accuracy: Utilize advanced translation software and industry-specific glossaries to maintain technical consistency.
• Coordinate Local Verification: Work closely with local bilingual engineers or proofreaders to verify that translated Uzbek/Russian texts match factory-floor terminology.

2. Communication & Liaison Bridge

• Facilitate Communication: Set up communication channels (such as translated Email communications or bilingual notice boards) to pass information from Indian management to local workers.
• Meeting Preparation: Prepare bilingual agendas, translated presentation slides, and meeting minutes for site operations.

3. Administrative & Safety Compliance

• HSE Translation: Prioritize the translation of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) manuals to ensure factory zero-accident compliance.
• Archive Management: Maintain an organized digital library of all English, Russian, and Uzbek technical document versions.

🎓 Job Requirements & Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in English/Russian translation engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field. A degree in Linguistics with heavy technical experience is also acceptable.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience working within a manufacturing, construction, or heavy industrial plant.
• Language Skills: Near-native fluency in reading,written and spoken English,Russian,Uzbek.
• Tech-Savviness: Advanced proficiency in Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools to handle the initial Russian/Uzbek conversions efficiently.
• Software Skills: MS word,excel,PPT,Outlook.PDF translation etc.
