Tashkent University of Technology (ToshTech) is a newly established, internationally oriented technical university in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, offering engineering education in partnership with leading international institutions. The University invites applications from qualified candidates for the following full-time faculty position.
Position Summary
The successful candidate will teach Engineering Design and Modeling, including CAD-based design, technical drawing, and modeling principles used across engineering disciplines. The position also includes course preparation, student mentoring, assessment, and participation in departmental and university activities.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or equivalent professional experience in Engineering or Industrial Design
- Proficiency with CAD/modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent)
- Experience teaching engineering design fundamentals
Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, seminars, and/or laboratory sessions as required by the course
- Develop syllabi, assessments, and course materials aligned with program learning outcomes
- Advise and mentor students; hold regular office hours
- Engage in curriculum development, departmental service, and continuous improvement of teaching quality
- Contribute to the University's research and academic community where applicable
