Power Platform Engineer

As a Mid Power Platform Engineer, you'll take on a range of exciting responsibilities that will help you grow whilst making a real impact:

• Design, develop, and implement Power Platform solutions that solve real business challenges across diverse sectors including finance, automotive, and manufacturing
• Build and enhance Power Platform applications with a focus on technical excellence, performance optimisation, and solid architectural practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within existing Power Platform solutions, keeping business disruption to a minimum
• Work collaboratively with project teams, solution architects, and project managers to deliver solutions that truly align with organisational goals
• Support and mentor junior engineers, sharing your Power Platform knowledge and helping them develop their technical skills
• Contribute to improving how we work with Power Platform by creating helpful technical assets and documentation that the team can learn from
• Take on increasing responsibility for technical decisions and project design, building your confidence and expertise
• Connect with our Chapter Subject Matter Experts to stay current and deepen your mastery of Power Platform technologies
• Partner with your Career Coach to set meaningful professional development goals and track your progress

Qualifications

Must Have
1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent experience.
2. 3+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
3. Proven expertise in Dataverse, SharePoint Online, SQL Server, and integrating Azure Services (Functions, Blob Storage, Key Vault).
4. Strong skills in algorithms, data structures, data transformation, integration, databases querying and development best practices.
5. Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g. Power Platform Developer Associate or Functional Consultant).
6. Background in RPA/Power Automate Desktop, REST APIs, and custom connector development.
7. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills; ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have
• Experience writing Office Scripts (TypeScript) for in-workbook validation and transformation, Python for automation and C# for the development of serverless functions.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative tooling (Azure DevOps, Git).
