Accounting Outsourcing Supervisor (Senior Accountant)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Outsourcing Supervisor (Senior Accountant) to lead accounting operations for a portfolio of clients. This role involves supervising a team, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and delivering accurate and timely financial and tax reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both local and international clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage accounting and tax reporting for multiple clients

• Ensure full compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan

• Review and approve financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow)

• Supervise and mentor a team of accountants; allocate tasks and monitor deadlines

• Prepare and/or review tax returns and statutory reports

• Communicate with clients, providing professional accounting and tax advice

• Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and other external stakeholders

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes

• Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant accounting experience (outsourcing or consulting is a strong advantage)

• Proven experience in team management

• Strong knowledge of Uzbekistan accounting standards and tax legislation

• Proficiency in 1C Accounting software

• Fluent Russian and English (professional working proficiency required)

• Advanced Excel skills

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications (ACCA, DipIFR, CPA, or equivalent)

• Experience working with international clients

• Experience in process automation or system implementation
