3D Animator

Next Gen Lab is looking for a 3D Animator / Generalist to join the team behind Stranger Than Fiction Brand and Pulse Docs Brand, exciting new Documentary channels on American YouTube. We are hiring 3D Animators / Generalists for both channels. Please indicate whether you are working on short-form animation or long-form animation in your cover letter.

About the Project:
Pulse Docs creates exciting mini documentaries and docudramas focused on scary stories, legends, and true crime. We're a production company that owns YouTube Brands like Pulse Docs and Stranger Than Fiction. Our channels create 3D animated documentaries and docudramas focused on tech, business, crime and power.

What You’ll Do:
- Work on a team that create engaging 3D documentaries (30-60 seconds long)

- Handle the full visual production: modeling, texturing, lighting, camera movement, rendering

- Match the clean, cinematic style inspired by Zack D Films, The Art of War, and

What We’re Looking For:

- Strong 3D animation portfolio

- Skilled in Blender (or Maya/C4D, Unreal Engine)

- Sense of motion, pacing cinematic lighting & composition
