We are looking for an Estimating Team Lead to lead and manage our estimating team at an established U.S.-based interior glass partition company. The role will help scale the estimating function to support accelerated growth.

This role requires a strong people manager who can work closely with the team, build and optimize processes, and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering and Operations. The position combines leadership, process ownership, and hands-on involvement in complex, high-value projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Estimating team with full responsibility for performance management, KPI definition and implementation, team evaluation, and the continuous development of skills, processes, and operational efficiency.

  • Build and own the estimating analytics framework, including dashboards and reporting on bid volume, estimate accuracy, variance drivers, and team performance.

  • Own the end-to-end estimation process, from initial scope review through final cost approval.

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve estimation standards, methodologies, and internal workflows.

  • Prepare and review accurate project cost estimates.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure pricing alignment with technical feasibility and project requirements.

  • Support Sales and Project Departments through pricing strategy input, cost breakdowns, and margin analysis.

  • Identify potential risks within estimates and proactively recommend mitigation strategies.

  • Review and approve complex and high-value estimates.

  • Monitor estimation accuracy and refine assumptions based on actual project outcomes.

  • Ensure transparency, consistency, and scalability of estimation practices across all projects.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in estimating, cost estimation or project costing within construction, architectural systems, engineering, or related industries.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing teams, including task assignment, performance evaluation, hiring, training and team development.

  • Experience working with custom, non-standardized products is considered a significant advantage.

  • Experience in the U.S. market is considered an advantage.

  • Strong understanding of cost structures, pricing principles, and estimation methodologies.

  • Ability to work with technical drawings, specifications, measurements, and scope documents.

  • Experience with estimation or project management tools.

  • High attention to detail combined with strong big-picture thinking.

  • Advanced spoken English (C1).

Professional Competencies

  • Structured, analytical, and systems-oriented thinking.

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new products, processes, and market specifics, including incentive structures.

  • Ability to communicate complex technical and cost information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.

  • High level of ownership, accountability, and autonomy.

Education

  • Degree in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, or a related technical field is preferred.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience and performance.

  • Opportunity to develop a portfolio working with well-known clients in the U.S. market.

  • Fully remote position.

  • Full-time schedule aligned with the New York (EST) time zone.

  • High-impact role with direct contribution to business performance and profitability.

  • Professional, collaborative, and growth-oriented work environment.

  • Engagement under a B2B contract.
