We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Expert/Specialist to oversee end-to-end payroll operations, ensure full compliance with local legislation, and drive process automation across our organization. This role plays a key part in connecting our People & Culture and Finance teams, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery while contributing to headcount and budget management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Partner with Finance on payroll accounting, reconciliations, and year-end reporting.
- Implement and enhance payroll automation and integration with HR and Finance systems.
- Supervise payroll operations to ensure timely payment of salaries, bonuses, and benefits (STIP/LTIP).
- Liaise with external vendors, auditors, and authorities on payroll-related matters.
- Ensure payroll data integrity and compliance with local tax and labor regulations.
- Provide analytics and reporting on payroll, headcount, and budget compliance.
- Monitor legislative changes and interpret new payroll-related laws and tax updates.
- Collaborate closely with HR and Talent Acquisition teams to support compensation analysis and offer preparation.
- Drive continuous process improvements to increase accuracy, speed, and efficiency in payroll management.
About You
You are a highly organized and analytical professional with strong integrity and a passion for accuracy and compliance. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are comfortable leading payroll processes across multiple jurisdictions, and can balance operational efficiency with strategic impact. You must have:
- Bachelor's Degree in HR, Finance, Accounting or similar.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing payroll within a large corporate environment.
- Knowledge and experience in managing contracts and payroll matters for a diverse work force, including expats and contractual workers ++
- understanding of Total Rewards and C&B
- Expertise in local labor regulations and employment law.
- Excellent attention to details and organizational skills.
- Fluency in English and Uzbek.
