Head of Career Center

The International Agriculture University is looking for a highly motivated and qualified candidate to join our team as the Head of Career Center. The successful candidate will also be expected to coordinate the key functions of the International Department, including international partnerships and mobility programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage career development programs, including internships, career fairs, and employer networking
• Provide career counseling and job placement support to students and graduates
• Build strong relationships with foreign partners
• Organize international exchange programs and support international collaborations
• Coordinate student and staff mobility processes and communication with partner universities
• Assist with visa application processes, including preparation of invitation letters and coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
• Support with residence permit and registration upon arrival in Uzbekistan (temporary or permanent registration).
• Provide guidance on legal requirements for staying and working/studying in Uzbekistan.
• Coordinate airport pick-up or arrival support services if needed.
• Help in finding suitable accommodation, including short-term and long-term rental options.
• Maintain a list of trusted landlords, hostels, and apartments with reasonable pricing and conditions.
• Assist in signing rental agreements and explaining local rental regulations.
• Serve as a contact point for any questions related to relocation, living conditions, or city navigation.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in Education, HR, International Relations, or related fields)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
• Strong understanding of higher education systems and student support services
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Fluency in English and Uzbek (Russian is a plus)
• Experience in international cooperation or Erasmus+ projects is an advantage
