Senior BI Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled BI Developer with more than 4 years of experience in business intelligence development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting, along with strong analytical skills to transform complex data into actionable insights.

Required Qualifications:

• Fluency in Uzbek/Russian and possess good communication in English.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in business intelligence development.
• Proven expertise in Power BI — including data modeling, report development, and DAX functions. Experience with other BI tools like Tableau, QlikView, or Looker would be a plus.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, manipulation, and performance tuning.
• Experience in integrating data from various sources, including relational databases, data warehouses, and APIs.
• Solid understanding of data visualization best practices and storytelling through data.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and present findings effectively.
• Understanding of CI/CD principles and best practices
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
• Familiarity with Cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, GCP, and Snowflake

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Knowledge of data governance, data security, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, troubleshoot and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, deliver impactful BI solutions and conduct demo sessions.
• Create and optimize data models to support reporting and analytics.
• Integrate data from various sources to create unified, reliable datasets for analysis.
• Write and optimize DAX and Power Query (M language) for complex calculations and data transformations.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Power BI reports and datasets.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all BI solutions.
• Provide training and support to business users on using Power BI effectively.

Location:

• Hybrid (Tashkent). You may travel from time to time and work on customer side in Tashkent.

Work time:

• Monday - Friday, 8 hours (from 9:00 - 18:00 Tashkent time, can be flexible +/- 1 hours)
