We are seeking a highly skilled Media Manager with deep expertise in TV media planning and buying, as well as a strong understanding of OOH, SMS marketing, radio, and other offline media channels. The role requires a strategic thinker with a solid grasp of TV advertising mechanics, media performance analysis, and negotiation tactics to ensure cost-effective and impactful media placements.
A successful candidate will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing media strategies to maximize reach, awareness, and return on investment. The role involves close collaboration with media agencies, TV networks, and internal marketing teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
TV Media Planning & Buying
- Develop and implement TV media strategies that optimize reach, frequency, and efficiency.
- Oversee media planning and buying processes, ensuring alignment with brand and business objectives.
- Work closely with media agencies and TV networks to negotiate the most cost-effective placements.
- Monitor and analyze key TV performance metrics, including GRP, TRP, CPP, CPM, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Conduct post-buy analysis to evaluate media effectiveness and optimize future campaigns.
- Track and analyze competitor TV advertising activity to identify industry trends and opportunities.
- Manage relationships with TV sellers and media partners to secure optimal deals and added value placements.
Offline Media Channels (OOH, SMS, Radio, Transit, Indoor Advertising)
- Oversee OOH and indoor advertising placements, ensuring strategic visibility and maximum impact.
- Evaluate campaign performance through CPC, CPM, reach & frequency, optimizing placements accordingly.
- Manage SMS marketing campaigns targeted at external audiences to drive engagement and traffic.
- Collaborate with digital teams to ensure seamless integration between offline and online channels.
- Plan and oversee radio advertising campaigns, selecting high-impact stations and formats.
- Manage transit advertising strategies to expand brand reach in high-traffic areas.
Qualifications:
Experience
- At least 3+ years in TV media planning and buying, preferably within retail, FMCG, or media agencies.
Technical Knowledge
- Strong expertise in TV media metrics (GRP, TRP, CPP, CPM).
- Hands-on experience with TV networks, media agencies, and media negotiations.
- Understanding of OOH, SMS, digital, and radio media planning.
- Ability to analyze media reports, track campaign performance, and optimize strategies based on data.
- Proven experience in working with TV sellers, agencies, and media partners to secure cost-effective deals.
- Ability to manage and allocate large-scale advertising budgets efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and reporting skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
