Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement methodologies for assessing insurance reserves in accordance with international standards (IFRS 17, IFRS 4).
- Conduct actuarial calculations, including liability analysis, valuation of insurance reserves, and verification of their adequacy.
- Advise clients on the transition to new financial reporting standards, including the implementation of IFRS 17.
- Participate in actuarial audit projects and analysis of insurance models.
- Collect, analyze, and process data to build financial and insurance models.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and recommendations for clients.
- Actively interact with teams from other areas, including finance, risk, and IT, to achieve comprehensive solutions for clients.
Requirements:
- Higher education in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or insurance.
- Practical experience with the valuation of insurance reserves (2+ years).
- Experience with international financial reporting standards (IFRS 17 or IFRS 4) is a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in actuarial software and tools (e.g., Prophet, SAS, VBA, R, or Python).
- Experience in Big 4, insurance companies, or consulting firms is welcome.
- Analytical mindset, ability to structure data and build complex models.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to interact with clients and work in a multitasking environment.
- Fluency in English.
