STL Truckers LLC is seeking a highly experienced and strategic HR Specialist to lead and optimize human resources functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing the company’s work culture, leveraging modern recruitment tools, and streamlining HR processes to maximize efficiency.
Duties:
- Develop and implement modern recruitment strategies to attract top talent
- Utilize advanced hiring tools, ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), and data-driven hiring techniques
- Oversee the hiring and onboarding process for new employees
- Foster a positive work culture aligned with company goals
- Develop initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and retention
- Implement employee recognition programs and engagement activities
- Design and oversee training programs for employees at all levels
- Ensure new hires receive proper onboarding and role-specific training
- Promote career development opportunities within the company
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
- Update and enforce HR policies to align with best practices
- Handle employee grievances and conflict resolution professionally
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in HR roles, preferably in the trucking or logistics industry
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance
- Experience in setting KPIs and performance management systems
- Expertise in modern recruitment tools, HR analytics, and automation solutions
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in HR software (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar)
