The Head of Trade Marketing Department in Korzinka plays a pivotal role in driving sales, enhancing brand visibility, stimulating customer traffic and loyalty by ensuring a seamless customer experience through well-executed marketing strategies at the store level. This role bridges marketing, sales, and operations, ensuring that promotional activities align with business objectives and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development & Execution of Trade Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and implement trade marketing strategies tailored to the retail environment;
- Align marketing initiatives with business objectives to enhance sales uplift and customer engagement.
- In-Store Promotions & Customer Activation:
- Plan and execute promotional activities, ensuring maximum impact on customer traffic and sales;
- Create relevant sales promotion mechanisms (promotions, seasonal activations, loyalty programs, etc.) according to the targets;
- Oversee the implementation of POS materials and ensure smart approach to the placement in the relevant touchpoints;
- Manage prefect in-store execution of campaigns through the collaboration with store operations teams to enhance customer experience.
- Data-Driven Decision Making & Performance Analysis:
- Analyze the effectiveness of trade marketing activities using key performance indicators (KPI), including ROI, sales uplift, customer traffic, repeat purchase, average check, etc;
- Utilize insights from customer behavior and competitive benchmarking to refine marketing strategies.
- Collaboration with Internal & External Stakeholders:
- Work closely with commercial, category management, merchandising and operations teams to develop and execute trade marketing plans;
- Knowledge of general principles of media channel utilization, the ability to develop briefs for media support, and the capability to assess the alignment of the proposed media plan with the campaign objectives and target audience;
- Understanding of general principles of creative development, as well as the ability to assess the alignment of the key visual with the campaign objectives;
- Manage relationships with suppliers and partners to attract investments for the implementation of joint marketing campaigns within the retail chain.
- Budget & Resource Management:
- Develop and oversee the trade marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources;
- Optimize costs while maintaining high-impact marketing activities.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Strong background in trade marketing, operational marketing, or category management (minimum 5 years);
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimize marketing activities accordingly;
- Excellent collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with sales, category, and operations teams;
- Experience in managing teams;
- Experience in managing budgets and external partnerships for marketing activations;
- Proficiency in Uzbek and Russian languages, English - minimum B2;
- High-level skills in MS Excel.
