Position Overview
SBL Knowledge Services Ltd. is expanding its presence in Uzbekistan and is seeking an experienced Operational Head to establish, manage and grow its business operations. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in IT sales to government and corporate sectors, capable of driving sales, building a strong team and ensuring overall profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Establishment & Strategy:
• Set up and operationalize SBL’s business in Uzbekistan, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
• Develop and execute business plans, sales strategies and operational frameworks to drive growth.
• Identify and establish partnerships with key government and corporate clients.
- Sales & Business Development:
• Drive IT solutions sales to government agencies and corporate clients, ensuring revenue targets are met.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers to position SBL as a trusted service provider.
• Identify emerging opportunities in the digital transformation, IT services and knowledge process outsourcing domains.
- Operations & Delivery:
• Oversee end-to-end business operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Implement robust processes and quality standards to maintain high levels of operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations and corporate policies.
- Recruitment & Team Management:
• Identify and recruit the right talent for sales, operations and delivery functions.
• Build, mentor and lead a high-performance team to drive business success.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation and customer-centricity.
- Financial Management & P&L Ownership:
• Take full ownership of the business unit’s financial performance, including revenue, profitability and cost control.
• Optimize operational costs and ensure sustainable growth.
• Prepare and present periodic business and financial reports to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in IT sales and operations management.
• Proven track record of successfully selling IT solutions to government and corporate clients.
• Strong business acumen with experience in setting up and scaling operations in a new market.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities.
• Knowledge of the Uzbekistan business landscape and regulatory environment is an advantage.

Reporting To: CEO / Senior Leadership
