Responsibilities:

• Design & Layout: Create layouts for university journals, research papers, and reports.

• Publication Formatting: Format text, tables, and citations according to academic standards (APA, Chicago, Harvard, IEEE).

• Infographics: Design charts, graphs, and covers for publications.

• Print & Digital Preparation: Prepare print and digital versions of publications.

• Collaboration: Work with editors, researchers, and printers.

• Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in editorial design for academic publications.

• Skills: Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop. Knowledge of citation styles (APA, Chicago, Harvard, IEEE).

• Soft Skills: Attention to detail, teamwork, problem-solving, time management.

• Portfolio: Examples of academic journals and research reports.

Desirable Criteria:

• Certification in editorial design or academic publishing.

• Experience in university publishing.

• Knowledge of LaTeX, XML, and open-access publishing.
