AI Process Lead will establish and lead AI initiatives within the retail bank, introducing data-driven processes and automation where none currently exist. This role will drive innovation, efficiency, and customer experience improvements through the strategic implementation of AI.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop AI Strategy: Define and execute an AI roadmap aligned with the bank’s business goals.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with leadership, IT, and business units to ensure AI initiatives meet operational and customer-focused objectives.
  • AI Process Implementation: Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of AI solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Data Infrastructure Management: Together with the IT team ensure the data infrastructure and tools necessary to support AI projects, including data collection, storage, and processing.
  • Change Management: Drive a culture shift toward adoption of AI, including training and change management strategies for staff at all levels.
  • Performance Monitoring and Improvement: Set KPIs for AI initiatives, monitor outcomes, and make continuous improvements to maximize impact.
  • Risk and Compliance Oversight: Ensure all AI applications adhere to data privacy, security, and banking regulations.

Required Skills:

  • AI Expertise: Hands-on experience with machine learning, data science, and deploying AI models (cloud or on-premises)
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to create an AI roadmap aligned with bank objectives and AI development trends worldwide.
  • Data Engineering: Knowledge of big data platforms and cloud solutions (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Change Leadership: Ability to drive cultural and process changes to support AI adoption.
  • Banking Knowledge: Understanding the basics of retail banking operations, customer needs, and regulatory compliance or high will to quickly learn it and adopt it.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Strong communication skills to align teams and report to executives.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical skills to identify issues and create data-driven solutions.
  • Team Leadership: Experience building and managing a technical team.
  • Higher education in math\physics\data analytics

Required Work Experience:

  • 2+ years in AI/Data Science: Proven experience in AI or data science, with hands-on implementation of machine learning models and AI systems.
  • 1+ years in Financial Services: Experience in the banking or financial services sector, understanding industry-specific needs and regulatory requirements.
  • 3+ years in Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams, ideally in technology or data-driven roles.
  • Project Management Experience: Track record of managing complex projects, including end-to-end delivery within scope and budget.
  • Change Management Experience: Experience driving organizational change, ideally in introducing or expanding tech initiatives within a company.
