BI Data Analyst (Junior)

BI Data Analyst should support our Retail and SME Banking teams by providing data-driven insights, analytics, and reporting to enhance decision-making, customer engagement, and business growth. The ideal candidate will work with large datasets, apply analytical techniques, and collaborate with business teams to develop actionable insights that drive revenue, improve customer experience, and optimize banking operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for business units.
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis to address emerging business challenges and opportunities.
• Collect data from different sources and ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with internal data governance policies.
• Analyze customer behavior, product performance, and market trends to support business strategies.
• Work closely with business teams to understand analytical needs and translate them into data solutions.
• Conduct data-driven customer segmentation to enhance targeting, acquisition, and retention strategies.
• Identify opportunities for process automation, operational efficiencies, and revenue growth through analytics.
• Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to optimize data pipelines and database structures for analytics.
• Present findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders to drive informed decision-making.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Understanding of banking products, customer segmentation, and financial analytics.
• Ability to translate business problems into analytical questions and actionable insights.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in data analytics role.
• Prior experience in Banking analytics is desirable.
