Key Responsibilities:

  • System Administration: Manage and maintain the university's IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Network Administration: Oversee the university's network infrastructure, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and security protocols.
  • Operating Systems: Install, configure, and manage operating systems across various platforms, ensuring compatibility and security.
  • Office Applications: Provide support and troubleshooting for office applications, ensuring that all staff and faculty can utilize them effectively.
  • Server Administration: Administer and maintain university servers, including updates, backups, and security measures.
  • Mail Services Management: Manage the university’s email services, ensuring reliable and secure communication across the institution.
  • Printers Administration: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of printers and other peripherals.
  • PC and other Equipment Procurement Management: Manage the procurement of PCs and related hardware, ensuring that all acquisitions meet the university's technical and budgetary requirements.
  • ERP Integration: Act as a key participant in the integration and deployment of the Academia ERP system, working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure a successful implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in system and network administration.
  • Proficiency with operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) and office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Experience in server administration, including both physical and virtualized environments.
  • Familiarity with mail services, network and printer administration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Experience with any ERP systems. Experience with Academia ERP is highly desirable but not necessary.
  • Experience in managing PC procurement processes.
