Andersen, an international IT company, invites a DevOps Engineer to work on an Uzbekistan project.

The customer is an Uzbek company with over 300 employees worldwide integrates communication, internet, payments, money transfers, and shopping into one app. They are preparing to launch in Germany, confident in their international appeal.

The project is the migration of the solution to a new platform, optimization of performance and scalability, transition to a modular/microservices architecture.

Responsibilities:

- Analysis and assessment of the existing infrastructure to identify bottlenecks and preparation of documentation on the current system state.

- Design of a new modular/microservices architecture.

- Development of a migration strategy and plan to minimize downtime and risks.

- Creation of Docker containers for all system components and setup of Kubernetes for container management and orchestration.

- Development and configuration of CI/CD pipelines for automating build and deployment processes and integration with version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Configuration and setup of Camunda to support business processes and integration with other microservices and external systems.

- Implementation of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).

- Setup of centralized logging (e.g., ELK Stack) for log collection and analysis.

- Implementation of optimizations to enhance system performance and scalability.

- Automation of infrastructure management using IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and preparation and maintenance of up-to-date documentation.

- Preparation of technical documentation for infrastructure setup and configuration.

- Collaboration with other teams (developers, analysts, testers) to ensure successful integration and migration of the system.

- Active participation in planning sessions, stand-ups, and other meetings to coordinate tasks and discuss progress.

Must-haves:

- Higher education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.

- Experience in DevOps for 5+ years.

- Successful experience working with Java applications.

- Hands-on experience with Camunda 7.0.

- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.).

- Experience in setting up and managing monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.) and experience in setting up alerting and logging.

- Understanding of the basics of network technologies and network security.

- Experience working with access management systems and data encryption.

- Level of English – from Intermediate.

Nice-to-haves:

- Experience in migrating enterprise systems to new platforms.

- Experience working with microservices architectures.

- Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
