- Manage and lead survey engineers and GIS staff to achieve department goals. - Preparing standard guideline and methodology for survey and GIS department. - Preparing standard guideline of Photogrammetry for Survey and Studies Directorate. - Verification of survey data, setout, profiles, cross sections and topographic plans. - Provide professional, technical, and administrative support for survey and GIS staff. - Coordinate survey activities with other departments. - Prepare training material and conduct capacity building programs for survey and GIS staff. - Supervise provincial teams to ensure compliance with project manuals and guidelines. - Perform site analysis, using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas and skills. - Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey site. - Preparing work plan and action plan for survey activities. - Checking and calibrating all survey instruments. - Attending weekly and monthly meeting. - Survey record keeping, filing, electronic document filing. - Resolve technical problems related to survey and GIS tasks. - Processing total station and DGPS raw data. - Quality control of topographic plans and GIS maps. - Georeferencing of topographic plans with satellite images. - Prepare of comprehensive technical reports. - Participate in review of technical documents and drawings related to survey and GIS. - Conduct query, analyze and technical review of GIS data to be used and incorporated in maps, graphs or tables. - Provide technical support for provincial teams in GIS related issues. - Produce printable maps using ArcGIS or other relevant tools. - Maintain and update the GIS data. - Review daily, weekly and monthly progress report of team members. - Coordinate all survey and GIS related issues with internal divisions.
