Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation Providing guidance, support and facilitate the implementation of the Sixth DIPECHO project with a focus on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Climate Change Adaptation (CCA). Strengthening the capacity of the Central Asia Red Crescent Societies to integrate adaptation to climate change related risks in the Sixth DIPECHO project and to support partners responsible for DRR and CCA. Supporting the CCA awareness raising process towards the authorities, civil society, and the communities targeted by the project. Supporting the NSs in the development and production of IEC materials, articles, TV spots, radio programs or other relevant communication forms regarding DRR and the risks of climate change. Represent the NLRC and maintain good relations with the NSs, as well as with the donor – European Commission and the Federation, other Movement agencies and other organizations present in Central Asia. Maintaining cooperation and coordination within the RC Movement in Central Asia. Participating in Inter-Agency meetings related to DRR and CC matters Improvement of Monitoring System of the Sixth DIPECHO Project Providing support to the NSs on ensuring quality monitoring of the Sixth DIPECHO Project implementation; Leading the process of improving the established monitoring and quality assurance mechanisms of the Sixth DIPECHO Project through enhancement of monitoring and evaluation tools, oversight of effective implementation of monitoring activities, ensuring timely follow-up on recommendations. Guiding regular sharing of the outputs of M&E findings with the HNSs and the Consortium Partners.

– Capacity development: Provided technical advice and support to the Central Asian National Societies. Coordinated the monitoring and evaluation of all capacity building efforts to ensure the most effective utilization of resources. Contributed to the provision of the Federation disaster management support to ensure capacities and systems development. - Management and development: Coordinated the preparation of regular development and youth meetings, seminars and workshops; contributed into training of National Society staff, members and volunteers; – Management and reporting: Coordinated development of annual and biannual regional organisational development programme documentation including narrative plans, logframe matrices, and budgets.
