When I was a child, my mother always used to tell me that fine education is an ultimate pathway to success. She is a business woman and is still a role model for me; she was always moving forward to success in life relying only on her own abilities and not on accidental luck or unexpected circumstances. I have learned to attempt, make mistakes, learn, and achieve. Education in UK is still my greatest dream which has to come true. In 2006 I entered Westminster International University in Tashkent, majoring in Accounting and Finance. Not minding insufficient knowledge of English, I passed the exams with the only aim of becoming part of this university as it is considered to be the best in Central Asia. I was doing my best in order to improve my language skills and prevent my lack of knowledge from affecting my grades. Being an A student at school I successfully passed the entrance examinations to the University. I became a part of Excellent group, to the progressive course which led me overcome a 5 year program within 3 years. During my university years, accounting related modules had been my favorite as they included team-work, high level of concentration and precise planning techniques. One of my most liked subjects was Management Accounting Applications. Having started my professional career later on, I realized that well-designed accounting strategy is the key to successful business management and planning. During my university years, I was using my every opportunity to get relevant working experience. That is why I have been a summer intern in few joint venture companies in Tashkent. This helped me to determine my goals and find out more about the insights of my future career in accounting and finance. I find it exciting for myself as the person may really see the usefulness of the functions he serves once he takes care of the company’s assets, thinks not only about how to invest them, spend them but how to enlarge them, keep them safe from various volatilities. Besides accounting, I am also greatly interested in IT, and that is why when I started to work at my mother’s confectionary firm, I decided to fasten the production process and mechanize the operations. i am truly satisfied with the results of the common efforts of me and the local group of IT specialists who were able to realize the ideas I had. As an accountant, I noticed how the production costs have decreased once the technologies were implemented. My plans for future is to create a network of NATKO confectionary owned by my family, supporting it with innovative accounting strategies. I have chosen this particular sphere as localization of manufacture is part of the strategic task of the sphere- to make Uzbek economy more stable and help to develop overall SME environment for massive local customer group, to decrease considerably production costs, increase competitiveness in the market, provide local population with new working places. To accomplish this task I need to obtain expertise in business accounting development on the world-wide level. This will help me to construct a business network and communicate with foreign partners as equal. Best business schools are located in UK. Education in the sphere of business will reveal my potential and assist me in realization of my ambitions. Masters studies could be my next step towards the new level of effective understanding and ability to handle my own business. I am willing to gain experience, retain some new ideas and approaches and find useful business connections in the sphere which is undoubtedly necessary factor. Thanks to possible study in your university I would be able to change significantly my professional sphere of working and create my own business in Uzbekistan, which in future could become a solid competitor for international brands. Having opened my own business I would be able to create more than 200 employment opportunities with fine working conditions and appropriate salaries. I am planning to pay particular attention to the sexism issues in my company, equal rights of males and females. My enterprise will be engaged in CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). Due to this fact, numerous free professional development trainings for local female population will be held. Effective launch of the planned project will require considerable inputs but I am not afraid of challenges especially if I will be able to go through Master’s course. I am happy to realize that this project will benefit not only my personal interests and expectation but the society as a whole in a form of new services, products and technologies. That is why I am sure that Master’s studies will give me the opportunity to comprehend my career plans and make valuable contribution to the development of my country infrastructure.
