EMPLOYMENT - Centre of Hydrometeorological Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Uzhydromet) Department for Climate Monitoring and Desertification of the Service of Environmental Pollution Monitoring ------- Responsibilities include: * preparation of documents and delivery to governmental bodies for consideration and approval; * active participation in the preparation of documents and reports in the field of hydrometeorology, environment protection, water resources management, climate change and desertification within the framework of international cooperation of Uzhydromet; * processing of materials of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC); Green Climate Fund (GCF). * development of cooperation with local and international organizations, foreign embassies, missions; * participation in negotiations and meetings with international specialists and representatives of governmental authorities; * ensuring timely preparation to international events; * processing of materials of UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD); * participation at the international workshops, meetings of Working Groups with the aim of advancement of national interests; * interaction with the Secretariats of UNFCCC, UNCCD, GCF on current issues of climate change; * written translation from English into Russian and vice versa of documents in the field of environment protection, climate change and desertification within the framework of international cooperation of Uzhydromet. * participation in organizing round tables, seminars, training, meetings on issues of environmental protection and climate change, as well as developing proposals to improve ongoing work on climate change, environmental monitoring and surveying contaminated areas; * Participation in the meetings and seminars with representatives of Foreign Organizations, Companies, Financial Institutions, and Donor countries (Japan, Korea, China, Switzerland and etc.) on the issues of attracting grants and project implementation procedures; * participation in thematic Workshops on climate change, climate risk management, mitigation on the negative impact of climate change; * Working with Inter-Agency Coordination of Organizations, which are related to the issues of climate change, adaptation, mitigation of negative consequences; * Coordination with the Higher Ministries of the program of visits of meetings of foreign delegates to Uzbekistan, registration of foreign trips of Uzhydromet employees.

Responsibilities include: * training of children from low-income families and well-off families to play piano, music, computer science, English language, and dancing; * help to children from 5 to 14 years to spend their time productively after school, in holidays. preparation for participation in different competitions, concerts, performances. * organize concerts, contests and prepared children to the holidays in Uzbekistan such as Navruz, children protection day, Independence Day, New Year Events and etc..
