• Assist DPI in organizing Global Model UN Conference and hold training sessions on the Rules of Procedure for GMUN officials and delegates • Ensure the timely update of the website in the three languages; • Ensure the timely update of UNIC Tashkent’s page on Flickr regularly downloading new photos on UN Uzbekistan’s activities there; • Increase UNIC profile in Facebook, Twitter and other web resources; • With assistance of PIA, maintain the UN Reference Library: register, classify and organize it in an accessible way and control library materials (publications, documents, press releases, films, photographs and posters); assist visitors to locate the needed materials; • Respond to in-person, telephone and mail inquiries and requests for information on the UN and its organizations; provide with requested documents and publications and bear responsibility for loans and returns of library materials; • Ensure constant and targeted dissemination of UN public information materials to local libraries, institutions, agencies as well as the general public; maintain an updated mailing list for the distribution of public information materials, record their local utilization and the reaction of users; • Assist in carrying out all UNIC and, when required, UN-wide activities, including organization of events, ensure preparation, appropriate packaging and distribution of information and promo materials; • Under the guidance of UN department of Public Information/UN RC, assist in preparation and procurement of reports, publications, promo materials and prepare all documents related to UNIC administrative, personnel, and finance matters in accordance with rules and procedures of UNDP CO and ensure their timely processing;
