My duties at this station include (1) overseeing NGO compliance (introducing and enforcing internal compliance policies incl. performance of board decisions (distribution of tasks & reporting)) (2) overseeing procurement policy (introducing & enforcement of procurement policies incl. organising tenders and drafting sample procurement agreements); (3) drafting laws and bylaws (Cabinet of Ministers Resolution “On Measures for Providing Educational Services to the Patients Receiving Medical Services from the Junior Centre for Hematology, Oncology and Clinic Immunology” and Cabinet of Ministers Resolution "On Measures on Organising Sustainable Water Supply for the General Middle Educational Organisations in Bukhara Region"); (4) advising the executive on NGO, commercial, tax and customs compliance; (5) overseeing compliance with financial regulations (development and enforcement of internal financial compliance policy incl. spending memos on financing projects); (6) drafting and reviewing project agreements, roadmaps and grant agreements, roadmaps and other project documents; (7) representing the foundation before private and governmental organisations; (8) managing DR risks (distributing FP & credit memos, monitoring and enforcing obligation deadlines, NDA reminders); (9) General Legal Services (GLS) i.e. reviewing chief executive officer’s decisions (orders & tasks), meeting minutes, external agreements, letters & memos, formal appreciation/depreciation reports, account reports, performance reports to the board, minor employment law issues (employment, labour policy, bonus payments, commuting & food compensations, termination, damages claims, etc.). Achievements: Helped develop the pilot legal framework of sustainable water supply by extracting and purifying groundwater, drafted, negotiated and defended the relevant draft Resolution of the Cabinter of Ministers in the Administration of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers (see d Cabinet of Ministers Resolution "On Measures on Organising Sustainable Water Supply for the General Middle Educational Organisations in Bukhara Region" dated 2022.07.11 no.648); Helped develop the pilot legal framework of hospital education for the patients of Centre of Pediatric Hematogy, Oncology and Clinical Immunology (see Cabinet of Ministers Resolution “On Measures for Introducing the System of Providing Pre-school Education and Upbringing, as well as General Middle Education to the Children, Receiving Care from the Centre for Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Clinic Immunology” dated 2022.05.05 no.234; Designed and implemented financing, procurement, HR, record keeping and finance recipient reporting policies; Drafted numerous templates of agreements, memos and executive and board decisions; Resolved high value compliance breaches.

My duties at this station include (1) advising the client facing teams (assurance, tax & law, consulting, and strategy and transactions) on requirements of Uzbekistani legislation and E&Y policies; (2) advising local and regional (CIS) operational departments (Office of General Counsel (GCO), IT, Finance, Talent) on requirements of Uzbekistani legislation (taxes, corporate, employment, personal data, audit activities); (3) alerting the client facing teams, regional GCO, regional and local Finance and Talent about crucial updates in Uzbekistani legislation (public procurement, personal data, audit and valuation activities, international commercial arbitration); (4) reviewing services, subcontracting and procurement agreements for compliance with requirements of Uzbekistani legislation and E&Y policies, (5) updating templates of services, subcontracting and non-disclosure agreements in accordance with requirements of Uzbekistani legislation and E&Y policies; (6) negotiating the terms of agreements with potential clients and suppliers; (7) advising global GCO via regional GCO on the requirements of Uzbekistani legislation applicable to global projects (e.g. E&Y NextWave); (8) GLS. chievements: Ensured change of ownership of the E&Y audit entity from Russian to Kazakhstani E&Y members; Negotiated and supported several agreements with high-profile government client, including a top economic ministry, worth several million US dollars.

Focus on: Intellectual Property, Public Procurement Compliance, Electronic Commerce, Import Compliance, Customs and Taxes (UK, EU, Uzbekistan & RF). My duties at this station included (1) overseeing state corporate compliance (introducing and enforcing internal corporate compliance policies incl. performance of board decisions (distribution of tasks & reporting)) (2) overseeing procurement policy (introducing & enforcement of procurement policies incl. organising tenders and drafting sample procurement agreements); (3) drafting laws and bylaws (Cabinet of Ministers Resolution “On Development and Introduction of Unified Electronic Ticketing System” dated 2019.10.01 no.18, Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Patronage” dated 2019.16.10 no.ZRU-571); (4) advising the executive on corporate, commercial, tax and customs compliance; (5) overseeing compliance with financial regulations (development and enforcement of internal financial compliance policy incl. spending memos on financing projects); (6) drafting and reviewing project finance agreements; (7) structuring high value procurement deals (development of IP) (incl. managing tax & customs risks); (8) representing the foundation before private and governmental organisations; (9) managing DR risks (distributing FP & credit memos, monitoring and enforcing obligation deadlines, NDA reminders); (10) development and enforcement of policies on the use of IP (reminder memos); (11) GLS. Achievements: Negotiated, structured and supported a 2,400 000 USD procurement agreement for the development of the concept design of the State Museum of Arts of Uzbekistan with Tadao Ando Architect & Associates (Japan); Developed and drafted the legal framework (incl. the regulation) of the Unified Electronic Ticketing System (see. Cabinet of Ministers Resolution “On Development and Introduction of Unified Electronic Ticketing System” dated 2019.10.01 no.18); Developed, drafted and legally supported (representing the submitting organisation before the Cabinet of Ministers, Lower House of the Parliament & Administration of the President) Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Patronage” dated 2019.16.10 no.ZRU-571, 9 Cabinet of Ministers Resolutions and 1 President of Uzbekistan Resolution.

Focus on: Cybersecurity, Electronic Commerce. My duties included communication with the clients, participation in dispute resolution proceedings, managing of the marketing promotion projects, legal analysis of various agreements, legal researching, legal consultations of corporate clients, translation of documents from Russian into English and vice-versa, conference interpreting, as well as development and publishing of articles on legal thematic.

Focus on: Share capital company corporate compliance. My duties included communication with various organizations ranging from the company’s commercial counterparts to governmental authorities, legal analysis of agreements, investigation of violations of labour discipline, legal researching, advising the administration on legal matters, representation of the company in trials and as well as translation of corporate documents from Russian into English and vice-versa.
