Logistics Manager
Responsibilities/tasks:  Liaise with governing officials, obtain all necessary road/rail permission to transport oversized cargo;  Negotiate with haulers, various transit ports, warehouse operators, crane suppliers and insurance company representatives for services and reasonable rates;  Appoint and oversee operation of haulers including dispatch of trucks, rail platforms and ships. Obtain the most reasonable routes and effective quotes, ensuring the company gets reasonable rates and maintain haulers contract;  Make sure that haulers meet the required standards in transportation of oversized cargo, including the requirements of safety procedures for the handling of dangerous goods, and ensure the hauler compliances with transport regulations;  Disassemble oversized equipment into components which allow the haulers to transport it by rail/road through transit countries.  Arrange for shipping documentation and oversee the scheduling and dispatching of goods and the tracking and tracing of goods in transit ports;  Be responsible for transportation budget in excess of 2,5mln.USD. Monitor department’s performance, control and review budgets and prepare reports and guidance for senior staff;  Cost management and reporting including customs clearance. Prepare/forecast the expenses relating to the customs duties in Central Asia and Middle East countries.  Mining projects search in Middle East and Central Asia countries, site visits and arrange meetings with officials if required; Achievements: Transportation of plant & equipment which is worth of more than $10mln from Uzbekistan to Middle East/West Africa countries.

Procurement Manager / Accounts assistant
Procurement roles:  Plan, direct and manage central procurement activities of the company under direction of the Directors and Group Financial Controller;  Create, control and monitor requisitions and purchase orders / liaise with transport companies;  Be responsible for procurement budget in excess of 2ml USD;  Travel to mining sites in Zarafshan, Uzbekistan and neighboring countries as required;  Liaise with London Chamber of Commerce on regular basis;  Organize and manage the delivery and insurance of equipment and spares being ordered for delivery by air, road and rail to Uzbekistan from UK, EEC and worldwide sources;  Translate document and produce written technical document in English, Russian and Uzbek languages with clear organized thoughts using proper sentence construction;  Liaise with Uzbek and UK customs officials;  Complete and review budgets, providing guidance and assistance to mine sites in Zarafshan; Accounting role:  Book-keeping responsibilities, including writing cheques and entering invoices into Pastel;  Preparing daily cashflow forecast for Company officials from HSBC and Barclays banks;  Working with the Group Finance Controller (GFC) and Accountant oversee day-to-day management of the company’s budget, ensuring spending remains on budget and minimizing the expenditures.  Control and update the Exploration project and provide monthly report to the GFC.  Critically reviewing invoices, bank statements, ensuring that the balances are supported by bank reconciliations;  Reviewing and preparing monthly salaries and assist Accountant in VAT return;  To perform various ad-hoc accounting and procurement duties as required; Accomplishments: Obtained customs permission to re-export company’s assets worth more than 2,5mln.
