Supervise managing billing and collections for over $12 million/month. Develop policies for billing, collections, and cash applications in accordance with IFRS standards. I was responsible for subcontracting engineering, procurement and construction works (EPC) for over $1.1 billion. Supervised a team to deal with legal documentation, tracking and handling of claims from and against subcontractors, managing the performance of the overall subcontracted packages. Define the prequalification criteria with the Project team, prepare the Project Subcontracting Procedure as well as the master inquiry and subcontract package. Ensure that the subcontracting activities are completed within the schedule and man-hour budgets.

I have coordinated all engineering and procurement work-related interface issues and activities between contractor, company, and company’s other contractors engaged in the execution of the M25 project. I was responsible for liaising with the company and company’s other contractors on all interface matters and for the preparation and timely submission of the company required interface plan, correspondence, and reports.

Supervised 22 staff members with an operational budget of $1 500 000. I have directed all aspects of operations, including human resources, marketing, budgeting, cost control, continuous quality improvement, community relations, and risk management. I have developed and implemented systems to assure staff is properly trained in the provided medical services. I have designed and implemented a new bonus system for admin and clinical staff that has improved the performance of providing medical services by 28%. I developed and implemented a monitoring system used by middle managers to ensure ongoing monitoring of payments on medical services provided by the company. Achievements: registration of the company and obtaining a license to carry out medical activities. Improving staff performance, introducing new patient care systems. Implemented programs to automate accounting and the processes for medical services. Selection of new staff including 6 foreign and 12 local clinical specialists and 4 local specialists in the administrative part.

I have advised Regional Coordinator and Programme staff on administrative reporting, clearance procedures on finance, procurement, recruitment, travel, etc.; I was responsible to prepare the Quarterly Financial Report at the time of requesting the advance of funds on the basis of a corresponding work plan and budget. I have monitored payment requests within the branch and obtained necessary clearances and ensure payments are effected promptly. I managed funds in conformity with the administrative and financial procedures of ACTED.

I have complied with the requirements of the Regulation of Internal audit service, in particular, prepared the annual Audit Plan and Budget for Internal Audit, conducted audits of company activities in accordance with the approved Audit plan and risk assessments, and identified controls in place to mitigate identified risks.
