CENTER FOR ADVANCING COMMUNITY STRENGTHS AND SOCIAL WELLBEING

 “Center for advancing community strengths and social wellbeing” conducts research, retraining and advanced training of personnel in the field of social protection.

The main objectives of the center:

• conducting research in the field of social protection and mental health of the population, as well as developing relevant proposals;
• creating and strengthening of an academic system that meets international standards in the field of social work;
• developing and implementing programs to address social protection issues.

The main goals of the center:

• supporting the introduction of a professional social work system in Uzbekistan, helping to create a methodology for organizing work processes in the field of social protection;
• developing scientific recommendations for organizing of social services at the mahalla level;
• conducting research in cooperation with the School of Social Work of Columbia University.
